This line is used to produce a profiled edge, round, square or chamfered, or simply to remove edge burr and provide a product for improved safe handling.
Slit material can have a sharp edge. At Stainless International we try to minimise this with our precision slitting lines, but customers sometimes require more, for reason of minimising handling risk or to produce a custom appearance on the edge of the strip.
