Stainless International revealed a record breaking single order for 600 tonnes of cold rolled steel when it received a commission on behalf of one of Europe’s leading brewers.

The successful contract was won against stiff competition from major European steel mills. The steel is to be used in the development of a new plant that is planned to cope with the growing demand for its product.

The material was sourced from the Far East and Stainless International routed the consignment to the customer’s door, via land and sea, on time and in full. The contract not only demonstrates the company’s ability to provide material at excellent rates because of its independent status, but also its expertise in handling the logistics of such an order.
